Get
ready for action, Aquarius! June and July are set to be red
letter months as your ruler, Uranus, now in
independent and single-minded Aries,
makes a series of contacts to several major planets in a
rare alignment astrologers are calling the ‘cardinal event’
of 2010. This is likely to set in motion a need for
intense reform and change on a global and individual scale
during the coming summer months, and perhaps introduce trends
that could be in play for years to come. Furthermore, a set
of eclipses in your health and psychological wellbeing
sectors could force to face your highly sensitive nature and
do something about managing how this affects your body,
diet and daily routines. Things get off to an eventful start
around the 8th of June when Jupiter joins
Uranus
in a conjunction, triggering an inner restlessness and need
for change that affects self-expression, siblings, as well
as your relationship with your local community. Any hints of
idealism that may have begun to surface in this area last
month will now become more difficult to ignore as Jupiter
amplifies the effect of Uranus, increasing your need to
align speech and actions with your highest spiritual and
social principles. However, all is not smooth-sailing – a
square from Pluto, conjunct to the Moon at the time of the
lunar eclipse in Capricorn on the 26th of June, together with
a hard aspect from Saturn, adds a few complications. It
seems that you may have some deeply-buried emotional
baggage, such as a phobia, or traumatic experience related
to death, that needs to be worked through before you can really
begin to live your best life, incorporate spirituality into
your daily routines or heal yourself of psychosomatic
symptoms such as insomnia or anxiety. Self-nurturing and
improved wellbeing are all likely goals at this time, if the
Sun-Mercury conjunction in protective Cancer is anything
to go by. However well intentioned you may be now, Saturn,
hovering on the cusp of Virgo and Libra, will throw blocks in
your path. Complications could arise in the form of
superiors or officials refusing to give their support to
educational, religious, travel or publishing plans; or, as a
result of loan
being turned down on technicalities. Alternatively, you
could find that the will of a recently-deceased relative is
now contested by an older male, which scuppers financial
deals. Do not despair though - not only will Uranus turn
retrograde in early July, giving you the opportunity to
review recent decisions and actions, but a less stressful
solar eclipse in Cancer on the 11th of July will
also bring about fresh opportunities to make those work and
lifestyle changes you were so keen on during June. At this time,
the Sun and the Moon will be working together to unite heart
and mind. Both will also be making a positive sextile aspect
to Mars in Virgo, which is likely to provide you with
the impetus and added
determination to resolve any lingering problems relating to
taxes, loans, inheritances or joint monies created by
Saturn. However, with this particular configuration of
planets likely to move in and out of activity all summer,
don’t expect anything to be completely resolved until the
autumn.
