During late August and early September, you can expect to find the
focus firmly fixed on the connection between your sub-conscious
thoughts and feelings on one hand, and the effect they have on your
health and sense of well-being, not to mention your work performance
levels and relationships with colleagues.
If you have been refusing to deal with a traumatic event in
your life, or have been acting out, due to deep-seated anger
or repressed psychological issues, with your work
colleagues, then the 28th of August (or the 28th of
September) may be the day that the wheels come off. A huge
blow-up with a co-worker may result in them (or worse, your
boss) reading you the riot act, perhaps telling you that
it's a choice between therapy or a dead-end desk job for the
rest of your career, because noone can handle the stress of
continually treading on egg-shells around you anymore. Not a
pretty picture, Aries, and we know how a trailblazer like
you would feel about that. Unfortunately, due to a negative
aspect between Mercury and Uranus, on the same day,
arguments or explosive communications are likely, as are
disruptions to presentations involving technology, such as a
conference call or slide show (possibly due to a power
surge.)
If you have been bottling up your feelings over the death of
a relative or a similarly difficult or painful experience,
then the emotional energy of the Full Moon in Pisces at the
time of the Lunar Eclipse may just prove to be too much.
Alternatively, work stress-related habits may be affecting
you psychologically. Too many late nights working right
through, with a diet of take-ways and coffee to help you get
by, is also bound to take its toll. A solar eclipse on
the 11th of September takes place on the south node of the
ecliptic, which highlights the re-emergence of issues or
memories from the past. If you have unfinished grief or
secrets you have been hiding from others, then you might be
wise to come clean now and put those ghosts to rest, thus
saving yourself from another six months of stewing or
sweating.
Full Moons bring things to a head, and this eclipse is no
exception. Meet the challenge by facing your demons head on
and taking some time out to deal with them. Going to see a
therapist is a very good way to make the most of hosting an
eclipse in your 12th house, as is going on a spiritual
retreat, booking into a day spa for a spot of detoxing and
yoga, or simply booking a few days' off for some quality
'me-time'. Taking action now will mean less chance of you
either getting ill or suffering from burn-out. Prevention is
better than cure, as the saying goes...and illness or
depression are definitely possibilities, thanks to a
Saturn-Moon conjunction which occurs just prior to the
eclipse, which may lower vitality, self-confidence and the
ability to deal with parents or authority figures.

August 2007 Lunar Eclipse
page.
Your ruler, Mars, will also be making a hard angle to
Jupiter at this time, which can indicate overconfidence
which can lead to physical accidents or damaging conflicts
with teachers, religious figures, lawyers and foreigners -
not ideal, Aries. So try and play it cool. If possible, take
the day off and don't overexert yourself at the gym - it
just isn't worth it. This is a day for working behind the
scenes or alone, if possible, so don't go trying to hog the
limelight - your timing is off. With Mars in Gemini at this
time, communication, especially with siblings or
schools/teachers or taking a short trip are the areas or
themes which conflict is most likely to arise. You have been
warned.
A few weeks later, on the 11th of September, a Solar eclipse in
Virgo will give you the green light to move on with your life. Solar
eclipses generally occur at the New Moon which is always a good time
for starting over, so consider this your deadline for dealing with
past matters. By this time, Venus, Uranus and Pluto will also be
moving in direct motion, meaning less internal turmoil or cosmic
turbulence. The eclipse focuses on your 6th house of work and
health, so the themes mentioned earlier become relevant once again.
At this time, you may be expected to work extra hard or be in good
physical shape to cope with the demands of a new job title or
project, so use the down-time between Aug 28th and now to rest up,
eat right and charge your batteries in preparation. If you want more
details on the nature of this solar eclipse, please navigate to my
September Solar Eclipse page.
On this day, the Moon and Mars square off from each other,
making you pay attention to details and ensuring that your
brain is working in a precise and detailed manner - no
shirking or half-baked jobs will be tolerated at this
time, especially not from female colleagues or male bosses,
so don't even think about it. The Moon and Uranus are
also at odds on the 11th, making for erratic behaviour,
financial fluctuations and sudden emotional outbursts all
likely. The name of the game: keep your head down and your
mouth shut and you should come through unscathed and well on
your way to starting an interesting new project or phase in
your work or health.
