Welcome to the new-style Astro-sphere, website of Astrologer, Phoebe Forsythe. Some of you may already be familiar with my horoscopes and have read the columns I wrote in 2005-6, which were hosted on The London Project. Sadly, this website is no longer in operation but I have saved some of my old pages which you can access by clicking on the link above. Many of you commented on how interesting you found the articles on the Astrology of London, so I have included them on my website. Simply click on the top banner if you would like to find out more. With an impending eclipse series taking place at the end of August and beginning of September, you may want to check out your eclipse horoscopes for August and September 2007. You can do so by visiting the Horoscope Main page. I have also put up a brief overview on what you can expect from the August/September Solar and Lunar Eclipses - this gives a more generalised overview of the astrological weather and some astro-insights for the coming month. For those who would like to put this eclipse series into perspective, you can read my Eclipse Chronology which dates back to April 2005. I am also pleased to announce that I now offer one-on-one consultations, as well as a beautifully personalised Natal Birth Chart & Personality Report, so please feel free to contact me if you are interested in purchasing one. I hope you will find this a place of interest and information and that you will enjoy coming back to check your forecasts and read the articles posted here. My interests are certainly not confined to astrology and I’m sure yours aren’t either, so I hope to make this a space of investigation and musings too. For those of you who would like to read about astronomical phenomena that may have occurred in recent months, I have written articles about Eclipses and what they mean, the close orbit of Mars to the Earth in 2005 and sunspots, which I hop to expand on in the near future. You may wonder why I have decided to use the motto ‘As Above, So Below’. Many of you will be familiar with the mystical figure of Hermes Trismegistus and the mysterious body of writings that has come to be known as the Corpus Hermeticum, but for those of you who don’t know, it is an ancient hermetic expression linked to the ancient idea that everything in the Universe is connected - that all life on earth, including man and nature, which makes up the Microcosm, is simply a reflection of the Heavenly Macrocosm - the divine sphere where planets, angels and gods reside. Astrology is also about the two separate but interconnected worlds, the inner psychological world of thoughts & feelings, desires & fears; and the outer material world of events and things. Connecting everything is spirit, consciousness or soul energy. Or what the ancient Greek & Renaissance philosophers have called the Anima Mundi (Soul of the World.) Modern quantum physicists are now starting to confirm that this may indeed be how reality works - new ideas such as field theory appear to be bearing this out. Our bodies are not mere physical entities, but layers of energy, stretching up to ever-higher levels of consciousness. We are not merely human beings but eternal souls who participate and are constantly connected with divine forces which permeate the cosmos. In this way, Astrology can be seen to show us our connection to the hidden order of the Universe - to reveal or uncover the Web of energy that interconnects everything - something that Quantum physics is only just starting to discover. All of us are here for a specific reason - to learn particular lessons, make a contribution. share a unique gift or perspective - and each of us is a piece of the puzzle that makes up a larger picture or divine plan. In this way, Astrology can help us understand our place in the larger pattern or scheme of things, reveal our life or soul's chosen path and help put us back in a relationship with the bigger picture. Starting with the natal chart, Astrology can help us to understand ourselves and others better, and help us uncover our life purpose or areas we have chosen to grow in. 'Know Thyself' was the motto carved into the entrance of the Oracle at Delphi and self-gnosis is truly the path to growth, self-actualisation and wisdom. I would also like to extend warm thanks to the team who helped make this possible, including my wonderful graphic designer, Vicky Jacob-Ebbinghaus, without whose vision and creative eye these pages would look rather boring. And so, without any further ado, please enter and have a look around. Love and Light, Phoebe Forsythe
