Phoebe's Astro-Insights for Autumn 2007

Your day-by-day guide to the Astrological Weather in November

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck that which is planted.”

Ecclesiastes (ch. III, v. 1-8)

Astrology is best used to ascertain the right time to do things, as the quote above illustrates. It is most empowering and effective when used as a tool to guide you through the phases and natural cycles of your life, based on your own unique astrological chart. However, seeing as I don't have all your individual charts at my disposal, this is the next best thing! I encourage all of you to find out your personal planetary placings and then transpose the insights in this guide onto your own chart, so you know how things are likely to pan out for you, where in your life certain influences are likely to be felt, and what days are best to make the most of every occasion and opportunity.

I hope you will find this a useful guide that helps you get the insight track on what to do when. Enjoy!

1 November
MOON ENTERS LEO
1 -3 Nov 2007, 28 - 30 Nov 2007

Today the Moon enters the noble sign of Leo the Lion. This augurs in a time of flamboyance, dramatic themes, luxury and decadence. During the Moon’s stay in this constellation, you can expect to feel the need for praise and attention more than usual. Spoil yourself with some hard-earned pampering or shower attention on a partner who will be more than happy to cuddle you back. Try not to let the need for extra strokes make you become too demanding or arrogant. Leonine pride and a touch of playfulness is one thing but throwing tantrums is another. This window of 2 and a half days is an excellent time for visiting the theatre, performing of all kinds as well as all creative pursuits, especially those involving children.

MERCURY in LIBRA SEXTILE JUPITER in SAGITTARIUS
1 – 4 Nov 2007

This transit favours any project or decision that requires clear, quick and expansive thinking. You are particularly alert and mentally agile and are easily able to grasp the big picture in any discussion or situation. Business deals, written projects, strategic plans or activities revolving around study and teaching should benefit from this window of opportunity. It is important that you make the most of these energies and not let the chance to clearly express yourself slip through your fingers. Make the most of a period of good judgement and positive thinking to make things happen.

2 November
MARS in CANCER TRINE URANUS in PISCES
2 – 28 Nov 2007. Exact

For the next month or so, thanks to a positive, flowing aspect between action-oriented Mars and inspirational Uranus, much can be achieved in the fields of technology, web-design and humanitarian projects. This is also a great time to take creative individual initiatives to the next level or push for important changes in an organisation. This is great time to fight for the rights of worthy causes, especially if you have strong or heart-felt connection to a particular group or social or if you are campaigning for the rights of children, mothers or religious freedom. On an individual level, you may suddenly feel the desire to make a change, a commitment or an important decision that brings you closer to expressing who you are as a unique spirit. Thanks to a combination of strength and speed mixed with heart and soul, this month, there isn’t much you can’t accomplish if you are brave enough to put your ideals to the test or put yourself out there in a human sense.

MERCURY DIRECT in LIBRA
From today, you should start to see an end to all those relationship and communication snarls, traffic jams, transport delays and computer blips. Hooray! Just don’t celebrate by going out and buying anything big and expensive. Mercury, ruler of commerce in Roman times, may be direct but you aren’t out of the woods entirely until the planet gets back up to normal speeds. You may well have spent the last month or so re-thinking and reviewing business plans or creative projects, possibly even analysing your perspective on certain important relationships, some of which may have been in the past. Now you are ready to reconcile or move on, depending on how things stacked up for you during your month of navel gazing. The most important thing to remember is that your focus should now be future-oriented; your direction, forward; and, your pace can once again become zippy. Zooom!

3 November
MOON ENTERS VIRGO, MOON CONJUNCT SATURN in VIRGO
3 - 5 Nov 2007, 30 Nov 2007

Over the next couple of days, you may experience a strong link between the emotions and the body. Feel how tense and uptight your body gets when you are stressed. Try not to allow an over-arching need for perfection make you push past your physical and mental limits, or you could make yourself ill or suffer from insomnia. At work you may be extremely efficient and seek order and tidiness. This is a great day for tackling all those niggly little details that you would otherwise roll your eyes at and choose to put off in favour of that cup of tea or coffee. Mothers may be more critical or nitpicky than average - you have been warned!

Today the Moon also makes a conjunction with old father Saturn, which could help to keep things at a slightly more stable and unwavering tempo. The coming together of maternal Moon and paternal Saturn brings about a balancing of masculine and feminine energies. As a result, you could get a tremendous amount done and physically, you will have much more stamina and endurance to help you beat those deadlines. Emotionally, you will get an extra dollop of patience to handle any nitpicking that might come your way, or possibly keep you from dishing some out. The only down side is that you may feel a little serious or blue. Fear not, this too shall pass. This aspect only lasts until tomorrow, so put your head down and save your party face for another time. Today is also an excellent day to start a diet as you will be disciplined enough to curb any snacking impulses and you will enjoy the whole ritual aspect of planning your menu and exercise routine.

4 November
SUN in SCORPIO TRINE MARS in CANCER
1 - 8 Nov 2007, Exact 4 Nov 2007

Today you will feel particularly energised and ready to take action. Use this fearless and passionate energy to act on feelings, gut instincts and affective promptings that may emerge from your body in the form of tingles, aches or nervous energy or muscular tension. For the next 4 days or so, you are being asked to act in accordance with who you are as an individual, to show no fear of opening your heart in courageous acts of self-expression. There is no point in hiding your light under a bushel during transits like these or indeed, to try and sit still for too long. You will feel a tremendous drive to accomplish something, expend physical or mental energy and tackle problems head-on. Just beware of overdoing the aggression element of this aspect – the idea is to empower yourself without getting into anyone’s face. Try to do things in such a way that you create win-win situations – this is far more constructive than simply being competitive with others, which only brings short-term gains. For those who are self-employed, enjoy the added boost of motivation and drive - it should help you focus in the absence of a manager to spur you on. Go get ‘em, tiger!

5 November
MOON CONJUNCTS VENUS in VIRGO & PLUTO in SAGITTARIUS BEFORE ENTERING LIBRA
5 – 7 Nov 2007. Exact 5 Nov 2007

Today the Moon is the focal planet at work in our cosmos. One of the fastest-moving bodies in our solar system, she gets to socialise or have encounters with quite a few planetary bodies in the space of a few hours. Today, the Moon starts out in the sign of Virgo and ends the day in Libra. This means that we start the day seeking order, purity and precision, and then later, are drawn toward situations and people that exude beauty, peace, harmony and congeniality. In between, around the early evening hours, you may feel an added need for connection, affection and nurturing whilst simultaneously experiencing either strong sexual tension or become aware of a subtle power struggle going on in the background during your interactions with those in your immediate environment. My suggestion: focus on the touchy-feely, sexy aspect of these lunar transits tonight – make love, not war would be an excellent motto for this evenings proceedings! Arrange a date with someone you’ve fancied for a while – chances are, sparks will fly!  If you aren’t planning on going out this evening, indulge yourself a little – have a glass of your finest wine with dinner, put on some enchanting music while you eat or bath, light a candle or wear your best pyjamas. You get the picture – tonight is all about relaxation so bliss out in the way you know best.

6 November
VENUS in VIRGO SQUARE PLUTO in SAGITTARIUS
2 - 9 Nov 2007, Exact 6 Nov 2007

For the next week or so, Venus, planet of love, money and beauty will be locked in a challenging aspect with the powerful planetoid Pluto, who rules secret desires, hidden urges and the need for transformation. The longing to connect with someone sexually or emotionally may be very strong at this time, even if this wish is inappropriate or unrequited. Once again sexual tension will run high, as will the likelihood of darker emotions such as jealousy, obsession and a lust for power. If you are locked in a business dispute, there is a strong likelihood of things boiling over into nasty confrontations or underhanded behaviour, so be very careful if you have to sign a legal document or defend yourself in a legal procedure today – things may not go to plan. Artistically this can be a time of high frustration or enormous creativity – it all depends on how good you are at transposing negative emotions or dark moods into something beautiful.  In romance, someone may turn out to be not quite what you think they are – make sure they aren’t already taken for one thing, or that their intentions are honourable, or you could be in for a rude awakening. If you are trying to get over an ex, or have trouble letting go of emotional situations, you might find the next week rather difficult. The only thing I can tell you is that this, like everything else, will pass. In the meantime, you are best advised to avoid going to places where you think you might bump into anyone who might bring up painful memories from the past. Where possible, be as honest with yourself and others as possible – it might make things worse before they get better but with Pluto involved, sometimes the only way up is by first going down.

7 November
SUN in SCORPIO TRINE URANUS in PISCES
4 - 11 Nov 2007, Exact 7 Nov 2007

The next few days may prove rather eventful, thanks to this powerful transit. The prospect of encountering pleasant surprises, exciting changes or dramatic developments will be high, so make sure you are prepared for anything. Expect the unexpected is a good way of describing this aspect. Of course, it may not have anything to do with outer situations at all – you may surprise yourself with a brilliant idea or ingenious solution to a nagging problem. Or you may decide to do something you wouldn’t normally dare to consider such as cut off all your hair, visit that Buddhist centre you always walk past on the way home or join an aid organisation. This is also a time when you may be more intellectually open to unusual, innovative or unconventional ideas, especially if they involve positive changes that will bring about improvements for society or uplift a large group of people. Your intuitive faculties may be stronger than usual now so listen carefully to what they might be saying. You also stand to make progress by joining forces with others right now for a specific purpose – together you will achieve much more than you would alone. This transit is great for making any positive changes in your life, so be brave and dare to do something out of the ordinary.

MOON in LIBRA TRINE NEPTUNE in AQUARIUS
7 Nov 2007

On this rather unusual day, the Moon will be in harmonious, flowing aspect to Neptune, ruler of Pisces which coincidentally, is also the sign that Uranus is in today when it aspects the Sun – see above. In fact, these planets are in what’s known as mutual reception – a highly favourable situation when two planets are seen to share or have interchangeable qualities. Given the Sun-Uranus trine also happening today, this Moon transit should be a particularly dreamy or spiritual one. Stay open to subtle perceptions and emotional impressions today – any hunches or insights you have now are likely to be extremely well-placed and perceptive, so don’t ignore them. Pay attention to any vivid dreams you have during the next 24 hours - your subconscious may be trying to communicate something important to you. Those who like to meditate or use active imagination should be in for a treat – entering dream-like or altered states of awareness should be effortless now. Artists, especially photographers, should experience a boost of creative inspiration if they attune themselves to higher states of consciousness. This is definitely a good day for soulful activities so take some time out of your day to listen to some uplifting music, meditate, or visit a diviner - its likely you will receive some really good advice. Or enjoy an almost psychic rapport with a loved one. Psychic energies will run high now, so be open to the strange and mysterious... “Beam me up, Scotty!”

8 November
VENUS ENTERS LIBRA
8 Nov – 5 Dec 2007

Today the secondary benefic planet, Venus, enters Libra, one of her natural ‘homes’ in the sky. For the next month, everyone should enjoy the extra boost that comes with her placement here. Areas that stand to benefit most include one-on-one relationships, business partnerships, legal matters, artistic pursuits, diplomatic efforts, personal grooming and any attempts to restore peace, civility and harmony to fractious situations. By focusing on what you have in common with others, you are more likely to reach agreements and find a way through stand-offs now, so take the middle path and compromise where possible. In relation to home decorating or creative enterprises, balance and proportion is everything. Given the many difficult and challenging relationship aspects we’ve been experiencing recently, this should bring a welcome respite. This should also be a great time for socialising, so start filling up your diary with some end of season soirees before everyone becomes anti-social again over winter. Small, intimate affairs are the way forward, so book a table at your favourite restaurant where you and your sweetie can enjoy a ‘date night’ or where you can catch up on all the gossip with your best mate.

MOON & MERCURY in LIBRA SEXTILE PLUTO
3 - 12 Nov 2007, Exact 8 Nov 2007

During the course of today, both the Moon and Mercury, in fair-minded Libra, will have separate friendly encounters with Pluto in affable, philosophic and enthusiastic Sagittarius. The end result is a blending of heart and mind through deep and honest discussion which, together, bring about opportunities for reconciliation and transformation in relationships, finances and modes of creative expression.

Around midday, the Moon changes signs, moving into sultry but serious Scorpio. For the rest of the day, the mood will tip the scales from a Venusian to a decidedly more Plutonian feel. Things now are likely to be heavier or more intense in tone, so if you are after more of a light, charming or friendly air to smooth things over with someone, schedule your meetings for the morning when Venus will have more sway. If, however, you want proceedings to have more of an edge or be full of drama, then wait until the afternoon. Or get the best of both worlds by having a social breakfast get-together and a killer afternoon meeting. Whatever happens, make things work for you. All I would say is, if you possibly can, avoid starting anything new until the start of the New Moon tomorrow when things will get that extra boost of lunar support.

9 November
NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

Today the Moon enters the beginning of a new lunar phase, heralding a time for change and fresh starts. Given that this new Moon occurs in the sign of Scorpio, a passionate water sign, you are best off using this energy to cast off emotional baggage and old affective habits that hold you back. Scorpio is best represented by the Phoenix, a bird which rises from its ashes to be born again. This is to make long-lasting changes to the way you relate to others, so if you keep making the same mistakes when it comes to matters of the heart, this is the time to break the pattern! You are being offered a fresh opportunity to pursue your heart’s deepest desires and most secret longings, so don’t waste it by moping about or getting heavy with others about things which are not their problem.

Today the Moon will also be making some positive angles to Mars, planet of action and initiative, and Uranus, which rules paradigm shifts and changes for the better. This gives a boost to any efforts on your part to give yourself an emotional make-over – even more reason to be bold and decisive! Saturn, planet of structure and discipline, will also be adding his support through a sextile with the Moon, ensuring that your motivations are practical and sensible, and giving your actions the weight and authority they need to really stick.  The only caveat is that Neptune, planet of confusion and deception, will be squaring this new Moon which can muddy the waters a little. My advice: act only from a place of truth and integrity and you can’t go far wrong.

11 November
MERCURY ENTERS SCORPIO
11 Nov – 1 Dec 2007.

Today your head will follow your heart’s lead as Mercury, planet of the intellect, enters the constellation of Scorpio. If nothing else, today you won’t feel any conflict between what you felt you needed to do yesterday and how you pictured things panning out mentally. For the next two months or so, expect to think in a much more serious and focused manner. You will prefer to discuss matters in-depth, rather than leave things on a superficial level. Behind-the-scenes intrigues and juicy gossip will also appeal – the sign of Scorpio loves nothing more than a little cloak and dagger to keep them guessing and interested! Communications with others are likely to be intense and possibly, more honest or confrontational, depending on how aggressive you naturally are. During this time, you will also be mentally resourceful and have excellent powers of concentration. This is a good time for research, reading crime novels or watching suspense or thriller movies. The only downside may be a tendency to worry or obsess over things – try not to get too attached to how things turn out and you will be fine.

12 November
SUN in SCORPIO SQUARE NEPTUNE in AQUARIUS
8 - 15 Nov 2007, Exact 12 Nov 2007

Between the 8th and 15th of the month, the Sun and Neptune will be at odds with each other in a  90 degree aspect in the sky. This heralds a window in which you may question your own judgement, feel confused or unable to make decisions due to a lack of clear information or to cloudy thinking. Deceptive Neptune will create a fog around you, making you become temporarily sluggish, impractical, scattered and prone to errors. Misunderstandings are common-place, as is the likelihood of being misled. This period may also bring with it a period in which you are prone to fantasy or escapism. Fleeting depression is also not unheard of. Try to delay any important decisions or signing any agreements until after the 16th – that way, you won’t make any mistakes that aren’t reversible. The only comfort is that others will be in the same boat as you, so try to help each other until the fig lifts. If you can, take a few days off and enjoy some peace and quiet - Neptune works a little better when you are tucked away from others and more able to indulge harmless daydreams. Try listening to some music or writing poetry – Neptune always make things seem more other-worldly and rose-tinted - so you should find activities like this quite inspiring. Take care of your health and stay away from seafood. If your body is sensitive stay out of the sun and away from drugs that might cause any harmful reactions. Make sure you stick to your responsibilities and be as scrupulous as you can against self-deception or you could look back in a few days and wonder what you were thinking. Fortunately, this aspect only last for a few days, so this too will pass.

15 November
MARS TURNS RETROGRADE
15 Nov – 2 Dec 2007

Towards the end of September, Mars entered moody and maternal Cancer and since then, the focus of your actions may well have become security and caring for others. Now, Mars begins to move backwards in this sensitive sign and you may decide to use the time to review the actions you took during the month of October, particularly in relation to family or lifestyle matters. Once again, listen to your instincts before reversing any major decisions. Try not to get too defensive if you feel you did make some mistakes  - see this time as a chance to put things right. It also won’t pay to be over-protective of loved ones - smothering people usually leads to rebellion and alienation, so the trick is not to kill with kindness. Another down-side of Mars retrograde is the likelihood of moodiness and a tendency to moan a lot. A little whinge never hurt anybody, but if you come over consistently cranky, you may find yourself all alone. Instead, channel any bad moods into exercise and a good, old fashioned laugh. There is also no point in changing things just for the sake of it – if things seem fine, then let sleeping dogs lie. Also, don’t spend too much time rehashing the past – this is a waste of energy and will only make you crankier. You may also find that under this influence, that projects may be delayed or slowed up.  If that is the case, try to be patient. Instead, consider how you might be able to improve plans. However your best option is to make use of any spare down-time to rest and relax – chances are you’ve been overdoing it anyway, so allow yourself some time off to eat some good grub, take some walks along the sea, or spend quality time with loved ones.

MOON ENTERS SAGITTARIUS
11 – 13 Nov 2007

Today the Moon enters fun-loving and adventurous Sagittarius, ushering in a brief period of joviality, optimism and raised confidence levels. For the next two days, you may feel restless adventure and need your independence. You may even dream of travelling to some far-flung places or consider exploring a little further afield within your local area. The best way to use this energy is to do something new, take a detour off the beaten track or study a foreign culture. Subjects like philosophy, religion, the law and teaching will interest you now. This is the perfect time to have a little fun, so down tools and head for the pub or the football pitch – a break never hurt anyone.

16 November
MERCURY in SCORPIO SEXTILE SATURN in VIRGO
14 - 19 Nov 2007, Exact 16 Nov 2007

Tonight, the planet of intellect and communication glides into a stimulating sixty-degree aspect with Saturn, the wise old man. This activates a period in which your thought processes will be very clear, structured and logical. Your concentration will be excellent and you will be able to organise any written work or verbal communication in a concise, ordered and systematic way. This is an excellent time for attempting to get large amounts of reading or writing done as Saturn adds an element of endurance and stamina to your mental faculties now. Right now, you may also take a short course or decide to get some more qualifications – education being seen as a good way to advance your career. During this period, you may find that you only really wish to discuss weight or serious topics now and will find chit chat annoying or unsatisfying. As a result, you find your own company much more satisfying, so get yourself a really meaty book or movie and settle down for a cosy time of mind-food! Saturn is also the great manifester, so if you have been planning something or nursing some ideas, now is the time to put them into action. A highly productive time for students, academics, lecturers, speakers, sales people, scientists, engineers, writers and researchers. It is also a time during you may find yourself becoming more serious about your health, diet, or exercise regime.

20 November
VENUS in LIBRA SQUARE MARS in CANCER
16 - 23 Nov 2007, Exact 20 Nov 2007

During this transit, which lasts about a week or so, you may get embroiled in a jealous skirmish or have a spat with a lover. Venus and Mars symbolise the quintessential qualities of male and female and when they come together in a challenging square, it is likely that members of the opposite sex will find it difficult to get on. Both parties may want to assert their wills or have their own way now and won’t be interested in showing consideration for each other. It’s easy to see how this won’t create any peaceful vibes. However, this tension may just mean that sparks fly in the bedroom department so even if you briefly break-up now, you’ll have lots of fun making up! Overall, expect raised temperatures and frayed tempers as people struggle to strike a balance between assertiveness and aggression. Beware of sexual overindulgence or of having a harsh beauty-treatment under this transit – that chemical peel may not go quite as planned! Try to be extra aware of how you treat others - showing consideration and watching how you come across will go a long way to keeping you out of harm’s way.

22 November
SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS
22 Nov 2007

Today the Sun changes signs, gliding from serious Scorpio into playful Sagittarius – and the Christmas party season can now officially begin!  From this date, the general mood should become lighter and more high-spirited. All those Goth-types will disappear back into their coffins and the die-hard party-animals will once again come out to play. Under this influence, people tend to be more optimistic, adventurous, open and sociable. Expect a few more invitations to the pub at lunchtime and the likelihood of sharing a few laughs around the water cooler. You may feel more buoyant and enthusiastic than you have for a while - make the most of this positive, fun-filled time because, after this month, the sun moves into the most wintry sign of all – Capricorn – and things will get a touch more somber again. This period is also perfect for considering the bigger picture – with New Year’s resolutions just around the corner, you may want to ask yourself what would gives your life more meaning, what do you believe in and how could you expand your horizons a little more? Areas highlighted now include higher education, religious institutions, foreign travel, publishing, the law, and most sports.

MOON ENTERS TAURUS
22 -24 Nov 2007

The sun isn’t the only luminary to change signs today. Not to be outdone, the Moon moves into sensual Taurus. For the next few days, you may feel the need for your creature comforts which could translate into a tendency to over-indulge or comfort-eat – probably not a good idea when the Sun is in Sagittarius, as this tends to encourage expansion of all kinds, including one’s waist-line! You have been warned…. You may also experience a tension now between wanting to be adventurous, on one hand, and feeling the need for stability and security, on the other. This is purely down to differing solar and lunar values, so don’t get too stressed about it – wait a few days and the resistance you are experiencing now should pass. In the meanwhile, concentrate on the facts, be practical and stick to your routines. Once the Moon moves into whimsical Gemini, you will be able to let your hair down a little bit more. Until then, enjoy the great outdoors, buy some flowers, paper yourself a little, but don’t make do anything radical.

22 November
SUN INTO SAGITTARIUS
Nov 22 – Dec 21

As Thanksgiving celebrations begin in the USA, the Sun changes signs, entering expansive and enthusiastic Sagittarius. This should shake you out of any broody fugs you may have fallen into under intense Scorpio and get you in the mood for a spot of socialising. Sagittarians love to party and the solar mood right now may be infectious. Get up off the sofa and into something sparkly – the party season has begun!  Sagittarius is also the sign of foreign travel – perhaps you’re jetting off somewhere far way for Christmas or heading off on a pilgrimage of some kind? If so, you may begin to pack and get excited now. If not, you could meet an interesting foreigner at one of these shindigs, so keep your ears pricked for any sexy, exotic accents. This is also a time when many students will be studying hard for exams or writing end of term papers – if so, the Sun should give you a boost by putting you in a philosophical frame of mind ands helping you mentally tune into the Big Picture. Others may simply enjoy the optimism and extra energy that this solar month brings. Sun in Sag can also loosen people’s tongues a little so be careful with your words – whilst a little truth is never a bad thing, there is always the danger of becoming a little tactless.

Those most likely to benefit from this energy are: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius as well as Libra, Aquarius. Gemini’s will either fall in love or fall out with somebody – there’s no in-between!

24 November
URANUS TURNS DIRECT IN PISCES

After nearly six months of back-tracking, the planet Uranus now turns direct. Since the end of June, you‘ve had a chance to think about how to live a more authentic life or make some contribution to humanity. Now you may experience a series of synchronistic events that help you to implement your plans or make the necessary changes. Put them off, and you may be in for a short, sharp shock – Uranus may find a way to use circumstances or people to force the issue! This is a time when you’re likely to want more independence or express yourself in a unique or unusual way. It’s also excellent energy for making alternative lifestyle choices, detaching a little in order to see things from a different perspective, or getting yourself out of a rut. You may also encounter unusual or exciting people now or move into a social crowd that better reflects who you are as a person. Surprises and changes of plans are the order of the day, so prepare yourself for the unexpected.

This energy is especially applicable for anyone who has a planet or sensitive point in their chart near 15° Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius.

FULL MOON IN GEMINI
24-26 Nov 2007

Today there is also a full Moon in curious, light-hearted and chatty Gemini. Occuring on the same day as Uranus turns direct, things are likely to be erratic, lively and unpredictable. As with any Full Moon, emotions are likely to be running high. Use the Gemini energy now to express how you feel and release any pent-up tension you may have, especially if you feel that you have been prevented from speaking with an authentic voice up or sharing your unique opinions or insights until now. However, be on guard against miscommunication or maybe even deception today. Thanks to two negative aspects between the Moon, Saturn and Neptune, your words may get a little garbled or come out in a harsh way. So, it may be wise to hold back a little communication-wise, or question the truth behind what someone says, because with Uranus in the mix, the likelihood of surprises or twists is always a possibility. Instead, use this time to establish better communication with someone or clear the air with someone you love. Full Moons are also a time of culmination or endings, so you may now hear the results of an exam or see your work get published for the first time. It is also likely now that you may get an answer to a question you have been pondering over for a while, or hear from a friend you haven’t seen in ages.

This full Moon will most affect those born between November 22-26, February 20-23, May 22-25 and August 24-27.

26 November
VENUS in LIBRA TRINE NEPTUNE in AQUARIUS both TRINE MOON in GEMINI
Exact 26 Nov 2007

Today is a great day for lovers, artists and poets. Venus, planet of love and personal creativity, trines its higher octave, the planet of Divine love and inspiration, Neptune, making it a fabulous time for connecting with your Higher Self, or a Divine Source for creative or divination purposes. For those more earthly-inclined, this is also a very romantic connection which conjures up dates right out of a fairytale, and relationships that have a dreamy, not-of-this-earth quality to them. For those who find ethereal, almost telepathic connections with another person a bit eerie or sickening, take heart: this aspect pattern occurs in air signs, which should keep things quite perky, light and intellectual, if that is your bag. Conversations under this configuration should be easy, flowing and interesting - think of it as a meeting of the minds if that makes you feel less queasy! Both planets also trine the Moon, Queen of the emotional realm, but from witty and fun-loving Gemini, which should keep things light, humourous and exciting. This is a great aspect for people wanting to write a heartfelt letter to a loved one, or for any form of inspired communications, especially poetry and music.

Signs most likely to be dancing cheek to cheek are: Libra, Aquarius, Gemini, Sagittarius, Leo or Aries, as well as anybody with points in their chart at 19-20 degrees of Libra, Gemini or Aquarius.

30 November
SUN in SAGITTARIUS SQUARE SATURN in VIRGO
Exact 30 Nov 2007

Today Old Man Saturn may try to put the brakes on any exuberant tendencies you might have as it makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in mutable signs. Fortunately the mutable signs are also the most adaptable, so be a little bit flexible and you should get around the worst effects of this difficult configuration. Saturn demands that we work hard and give 110% at whatever we do – half-hearted efforts are not acceptable – and this may be what is required to keep you out of hot water with a superior or parent at this time. Saturn is also a bit serious and contemplative, a bit like the Hermit card in the Tarot, so is great for seeking out the advice of a mentor or someone older if you get yourself in a pinch. The wintry darkness of his energy may well dim your ability to shine temporarily by taking away your physical energy, so it might be a good idea to conserve your energy by slowing down or withdrawing from the world for a little while until you get your mojo back. This may also be a time of heightened responsibility and checking the details (Saturn is in Virgo after all!) – you’d do well to heed the warnings or you could land yourself in a bit of hot water, and those in authority are not going to let you get off lightly. You have been warned!

Signs most affected by this square include: Sagittarius, Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus, Gemini and Pisces.
