2010 SUMMER ECLIPSE SPECIAL

What the June-July cardinal event has in store for you...

This summer, Cancerians are likely to see a return of themes first encountered around the New Year, thanks to a set of eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn in June and July. The first, a Full Moon lunar eclipse in Capricorn on June the 26th, could force you to make some tough decisions in relation to partnerships of all kinds. It seems that relationships, including business associations, are demanding changes at this time, and as the going gets a bit tough, thanks to a configuration of major outer planets all in hard aspect to each other, something is going to have to give. With the eclipsed Moon conjunct Pluto in the sign of its detriment, it’s likely that any decisions you now find yourself faced with will require a much tougher, more detached approach than may be your usual touchy-feely style. However, given that your survival depends on it, then I am sure you will be willing to adapt. The Moon-Pluto conjunction will form a t-square with Saturn in the sector that rules self-expression, perhaps illustrating the dilemma you could have about having to be somewhat ruthless or simply firmer in establishing your boundaries and communications with others. This is especially true of family, siblings and neighbours, all of whom may have been overly demanding of late. The urge for a change in career path may also be strong now, thanks to a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries. It seems that your need to start living your best life may now begin to express itself in your career goals and how you choose to express yourself in the world, including public responsibilities or positions of power. However, don’t be overly hasty – throwing the baby out with the bathwater is not the answer either – Uranus will retrograde from early July prompting you to  reassess your overall strategy, so don’t make any major moves yet. Talking to a sensible male figure at this time may be a good way to clarify your thoughts and help you to arrive at solutions that allow you to take a middle path. On the 11th of July, a solar eclipse in Cancer brings with it new opportunities for personal growth as well as clarity of direction, thanks to a sextile between the Sun and Mars. At this time, you will feel more assertive about expressing your desire for change to family in a confident but less confrontational manner, which is likely to mean that you win over their support – something that will always be important to you, no matter what.
