Autumn could be an important time for Capricorns. Your
ruler, Saturn, is due to change signs in early September,
marking the end of a two-year cycle for you in the area of
joint ventures, shared resources, loans, insurance,
commission, loans, scholarships, inheritance, sex and death.
Moving from Leo to Virgo, Saturn will now help you to
fine-tune details, plan more precisely and get the better of
any health or dietary issues that might have been bothering
you.
From the 3rd of September, your focus will switch to
expansion, travel abroad, foreign connections, higher
education, the law, and religious or philosophical beliefs.
Perhaps you have been wanting to set up on your own in a
business and have recently secured a loan enabling you do
so? This business looks set to grow in a big way, possibly
even with offices abroad or having some form of foreign
connection. Publishing is also highlighted so your business
may be in this area or you may be looking to get a book,
written by you and a co-author, published now. Saturn is
known as the great stabliser and manifester, so whatever you
do choose to put your energies into, in relation to the
above matters, is likely to have staying power. As a
Capricorn, you are also used to working hard and persevering
when times are tough, so I have every confidence that you
will succeed in whatever you choose to do, be it expanding
your business, taking a gap year, even going back to college
or university to study.
Before you embarck on any decisive course of action, you
might want to deal with two eclipses taking place this
month. The first, a lunar eclipse on the 28th of August, may
create a bit of a tug of war or conflicted feelings about
your plans from siblings, neighbours or members of your
local community. This is because the Sun and Moon will at
opposite ends of the sky, across your 9th and 3rd houses,
the very same axis of influence into which Saturn is due to
be moving. At this time you may get unexpected
opposition from those in your immediate environment which
could bring up feelings of doubt or make you second guess
yourself.
The Moon will be full in Pisces, sending emotions soaring.
The criticism or doubt-mongering may also come from an
expected source, probably a female who lives in your
neighbourhood - it could be someone you share a house with,
a friendly shopkeeper or teacher or someone who is related
to you. This is due to a difficult aspect between Mercury
and Uranus, which is taking place on the same day. I suspect
that this may the Universes way of testing your resolve and
the thoroughness of your plans. Try not to brush them off
entirely - there could be a kernel of truth in there or a
suggestion for improvement which you would be silly to
dismiss. Mars and Jupiter will also be having a
showdown across your 6th and 12th houses at this time, which
could see you alternating between deep-seated personal
doubts on one hand, and fiery impatience at work on the
other. The urge will be to push yourself in terms of your
schedule in order to get things done. However, that sense of
urgency may be purely of your own making and you would be
advised not to let your health suffer as a result of
unnecessary stress.
However, the Sun will be in your 9th house at this time, and
will make contact with Saturn just prior to the eclipse, so
it is likely that you are on the right track and a male
figure close to you may confirm this. Don't get too
disheartened though, Capricorn, because things will be
different by the solar eclipse on the 11th of September.
This occurs at a New Moon, which means the start of a new
cycle. By this time, the Moon and the Sun will be in the
same sign - fellow earth-sign, Virgo - so heart and head
should be on the same page by then.
In between this, Venus, planet of love, money, personal
skills and aesthetics, will slowly begin to change
direction, resuming forward motion by the 8th of the
month. This should assist you in sorting otu any last minute
financial details and could also bring news regarding an
outstanding application for a loan, a long-awaited cheque
for commission or an insurance pay-out that might have been
delayed since the beginning of August. The following
day, the dwarf planet, Pluto, also turns direct, which means
that you will have the power to make any changes or
transformations happen, so, after months of planning and
scheming, decision-time may have finally arrived!
Whilst I know you are far from rash, Capricorn, I should
also warn you that, even though new Moon eclipses are made
for new starts and big changes, there may be a few wobbles
or teething problems in the process. Of course this is
normal and to be expected - change usually involves
jitters as one thing ends and another thing begins. During
the course of the 11th, the Moon will first oppose Uranus
and then square Mars, so don't be surprised if more doubts
and frustrations appear. The first aspect may bring an
unplanned expense or interference from friends, a group or
organisation. There may also be an element of emotional
instability or erratic behaviour form loved ones, especially
women. The second angle between the Moon and Mars may see
tempers flare or your patience wear thing. It can also
indicate a conflict between your domestic and professional
responsibilities. If you can try not be too impatient or
irritable with loved ones - they are probably just
reacting to your changing role and circumstances and need
time to get used to the idea that things won't be the same
for much longer.
If you do manage to have a fall-out or argument, the
following day, the 12th of September is a good day to bury
the hatchet. The Moon will move into Libra, the sign of
peace and diplomacy, so emotions should be on a bit more
even keel. If that fails, then you have two others good days
to use to your advantage. The first is the 13th, when both
Mercury and the Moon make a friendly aspect to Jupiter,
planet of expansion and good fortune. Both the Moon and
Mercury will be in Libra, so the combination is a magical
one for calm and positive discussions about future plans.
The second day is the 28th of September, when the Moon
and Saturn will make a 120 degree aspect to each other in
the sky, always a good augur. This is a great day to get
one's house in order - emotions will be stable, your
approach is likely to be be practical and people will be
feeling loyal and devoted towards you. Many of the planets
will also be in friendly elements, including the Moon and
Mars, so use this auspicious time to get family and friends
on side in your usual careful and considered manner.
All in all, Capricorn, an important month to make big
decisions, get your everyday affairs in order and open
yourself (and others) up to the idea of a little adventure -
even sensible old you needs to take a risk (or a trip) every
now and then, so make the most of those eclipses to broaden
your horizons a little. |
