2010 SUMMER ECLIPSE SPECIAL

What the June-July cardinal event has in store for you...

This summer, things could get a little testy for Capricorns. This is because of a series of hard aspects involving your ruler, Saturn, and several other major planets, mostly in cardinal signs. Playing into this will be a series of eclipses, taking place in Cancer and Capricorn, which hammer home a message of personal and global change - a continuing theme for the planet over the course of the summer. You’ll notice a charged atmosphere from around the 8th of June as Jupiter and Uranus meet in fiery Aries, sending out shockwaves of energy that will set the cat amongst the pigeons, especially in home, family and real estate matters. The push for change will take on an emotional dimension around June the 26th when a lunar eclipse in your sign activates a t-square with Pluto and the Moon at its centre. It seems that you may be feeling a very deep need for personal transformation or catharsis, and any dramatic decisions taken by you now are likely to affect relationships, career plans, as well as your lifestyle and family. At this time, the Sun and Mercury will be in close proximity in Cancer, suggesting that talks about commitment, business partnerships or money, especially those involving a male, are likely to be significant now. However, with Uranus due to retrograde in early July, and  Pluto currently retrograde until mid September, whatever actions or decisions you take now are likely to need adjusting, as situations remain fluid and unexpected developments crop up. Around the 11th of July, a solar eclipse in Cancer introduces new circumstances and fresh perspectives in relationships and business partnerships that prompt actions or decisions on your or others' part. A male that has featured prominently in your life may now take his final bow or depart for foreign shores. Of course, it could be you setting sail for wider horizons, given developments in recent months. Delays caused by the presence of Saturn in late Virgo are likely to be temporary, given that Saturn will soon change signs, and taking into account a positive sextile angle between Mars, the Sun and New Moon at this time. With Pluto set to remain in Capricorn for some time, moving in and out of challenging aspects with outer planets, expect the push for personal transformation to continue, albeit with stops and starts. No one said complete reinvention would be easy, Capricorn, but if anyone can stay the distance and create something of substance out of things, it’s you.
