Leos
are in for another eventful summer, thanks to two eclipses
in Cancer and Capricorn during June and
July. The first, a
lunar eclipse in Cancer, is likely to see you arriving at
some powerful and decisive conclusions about where you’d
like your life to go in the next six months, particularly
with regard to health, work, pets and daily routines. It
could also be a time of psychological anguish, when you feel
cut off from others or simply too exhausted to reach out for
advice and support, yet also restless for change and tired
of the status quo. The Moon will be making a conjunction to
Pluto at this time, suggesting that on some level, you need
to let go of an attitude, working style or working
environment, especially if it is making you sick or is no
longer serving you. This eclipse will also form part of what
astrologers are calling the ‘cardinal event’ – a
configuration of outer planets all in hard
aspect to each other, bringing a series of challenges your way and forcing
you into action. Pluto, currently retrograde, will be
opposing your ruler, the Sun, hinting at a power struggle or
inner battle between your conscious and unconscious
sides, and bringing to your attention the link between your
mind and body. If you are stressed out and run down,
something may have to give at this time, forcing a
re-evaluation of what is really important to you - work or
health? Pets are another possible area of concern - if you
have been neglecting your furry or feathered friend because
of a heavy work schedule, you may want to rethink things,
especially if your pet now begins to show signs of pining or
illness. With a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in
Aries forming part of a t-square with Moon-Pluto
and Saturn, it
appears that the key to your dilemma could lie in a change
in job, attitude, or indeed of scenery – perhaps you don’t feel
you belong in your current location or aren't sure of your
current job? If so, the urge to up
and leave could be strong now.
However, given that Uranus will retrograde in early
July,
you may want to hold off on doing anything dramatic until after
the solar eclipse on the 11th of July, when new
possibilities are likely to appear, and your sense of
conviction and physical vitality are stronger. Money
may be one of the reasons why you are reluctant to pare down
your work schedule or let go of a job or client that is
affecting your sense of wellbeing. However, fate
could well take over the reigns at this time, forcing your
hand. Perhaps the real reason you don’t think you could do
better has more to do with low self-esteem and lack of
self-belief than true earning power? Use the energy of the
New Moon solar
eclipse to harness heart and mind to help manifest better
working situations for yourself using visualisation and
affirmation techniques – you may be surprised at how
powerful your intentions can be, especially at this magical
time. |
