Librans love nothing more
than peace, fairness and harmony between people, whether it
be amongst lovers, co-workers or family. Over the course of
the last month, however, your ruler, Venus has been
retrograde, which might have made you a little cantankerous
or perhaps just a little more thoughtful and less
demonstrative of how you are feeling. It may also have
prompted you to revisit past relationships, rethink your
finances or give creative projects a little fine-tuning. For
those Librans who did feel out of sorts, the good news is
that the planet of love is about to resume forward motion,
starting on the 9th of September. Mercury will also be
giving you a little boost in the communication department
when it moves into Libra on the 5th of the month, when
harmonious thoughts and clear, creative thinking and
self-expression will be the order of the day. If you have
any presentations to do, particularly those that concern
subjects related to cosmetics, fashion, law, make-overs,
social justice or peace initiatives, banking, finances, real
estate, farming or relationships, then try to schedule them
for anytime after the 9th for a little extra boost from both
Mercury and Venus.
Before that though,
Librans will have to content with a Lunar eclipse in Pisces,
due to take place at the end of August (the 28th) which
could stir up some rather strong feelings and the likelihood
of changes in the health and work department. Around this
time, there may be a surprise announcement at work about a
departmental reshuffle. Or you may discover that a female
colleague or boss is leaving. A difficult aspect between
Mercury and Uranus in the same houses (6th and 12th)
suggests that the news could take you completely by surprise
and could have an element of scandal about it. It seems
that, with Mercury situated in your 12th house, secret plans
or talks may have been going on for months behind closed
doors, some of which may affect your day-to-day routine or
tasks. Another way this might work out is that you learn of
an illness that has been kept under wraps or has lain
undiscovered and now needs hospitalisation, possible in an
isolation ward, or large amounts of bed rest to treat. With
Saturn making a close orbit to the Sun earlier on the same
day, suggesting illness, depression and lowered vitality, it
might be worth getting your own health seen to, or booking
off a few days to rest and recuperate, particularly if you
have been feeling out of sorts or working too hard.
During the course of the
28th, Jupiter and Mars will also takes turns to square up to
the lunar eclipse, forming what is known as a mutable grand
cross adding extra tension to the mix. As the word might
cross might imply, this could also be a time when here is a
standoff between you and a work colleague or healthcare
professional , possibly regarding a long-standing feud or
deep-seated grudge going back some time involving health,
employment, routines or pets. My advice would be to steer
clear of any confrontations at this time if you can and be
careful what you say to anyone involved in charities,
spiritual organisations, the prison or health service, as
well as pregnant women.
Whilst few Librans will
need any encouragement on this score, it is worth
remembering that this people born under this sign can be
real tigers if they think an injustice has been perpetrated.
However, even if you think you are right (and the
Mars-Jupiter opposition makes this seem very likely) there
is a slim chance that you may be standing on shaky ground
(Venus is also in opposition to Neptune) or that you have
been the victim of some form of deception where you have
been prevented from knowing all the facts. The upshot: if
you can book a few days off to rest and take care of your
health and stress levels, be adaptable and prepared to
accept and work around any changes at this time. Expect to
feel quite emotional too, as a Full Moon eclipse in Pisces
is pretty potent and dramatic stuff.
As you can see, it is
just as well that you have all that positive Libran energy I
mentioned earlier coming your way - you may well need it!
Of course, things may
well heat up again at the New Moon when a solar eclipse in
Virgo on the 11th focuses on your inner-most thoughts,
feelings and hidden motives. It's a time when things you may
have put off facing rise to the surface and you're forced to
admit some rather difficult or painful things to yourself or
others. It could be that you need time out to process the
news that arose at the time of the lunar eclipse and decide
how you want to move forward. The way to get the most of
this day is to be brutally honest with yourself about what
it is that you really want out of life and whether your
current path is going to help you achieve this.
On this day, you could
well arrive at some important insights regarding how you
sabotage yourself or play out destructive patterns which
stop you from growing or moving forward. The 12th house is
the house of secret enemies and self-undoing, so it is good
to look beneath the surface for the answers you currently
seek. Pluto and the Moon also make a challenging angle to
each other which emphasises the need for emotional honesty
and deep inner transformation. It's a great time to go into
therapy or start on a new spiritual path, or simply set
aside some quality time for yourself. Great ways to harness
the mood of this date include writing in your journal,
having some spa treatments or enjoying solitary walks in a
quiet or beautiful place.
A past issue might also
surface around now. If it does, then try and determine what
relevance or overlaps there are with your current
circumstances. Chances are, there is some lesson to be
learnt or important message that you might have missed the
last time around, which could really help you resolve inner
conflict or make important decisions in the present, if you
can allow yourself to see with a clearer perspective.
Whatever occurs on this
day will not be solved with a quick-fix - this could
be the subject of your focus for the next 6 months. Whatever
you do decide, try to be gentle with yourself and others.
There is no need to rush yourself or make premature
announcements to others, especially if they are of a hurtful
nature. Instead, wait until the static clears and your sense
of perspective returns before throwing the baby out with the
bathwater. A good day to have healthy discussions with
others is the 13th when Jupiter and Mercury meet up in a
dynamic and friendly 60-degree configuration. At this time,
you'll be able to see the Big Picture and be eloquent in any
conversations to do with future plans.
The best way to see
September is as a time of planning, thinking and
reassessing. Your time for action will only arrive after the
23rd when the Sun enters Libra and your birthday rolls
around. So take your time, keep your own counsel and, above
all, keep your ears and eyes open - there is much to be
learnt and discovered if you are receptive and alert to the
clues.
