Your November Horoscopes
Aries
Still reeling from
the eclipses of last month? They may have caused chaos in
your relationships or domestic set-up. Jupiter and the sun,
currently in Scorpio, may have set this off - issues around
power, sex or money may have reared their ugly heads. Your
ruler, Mars will also make a negative aspect to the Sun
around the 7th so if possible, avoid choosing
this as the day to have that ‘chat’ – it might all end in
tears. If you can’t, then be prepared to listen and
compromise – a hard-nosed approach won’t get any results.
With Mars travelling backwards in Taurus, it is important to
realise that nothing will be accomplished overnight.
Venus in Sagittarius
since last month may have been making you feel restless.
However, after the 6th, she moves into earthy
Capricorn, forcing you to be more realistic. These steadier
energies will give you the space and time to sort through
things before making final decisions. Her aspect to Mars on
the 17th makes for a good day to initiate
reconciliations.
If you do get caught
up in dramas, or have neglected practicalities, Mercury
retrograde around the 14th will give you a chance
to rectify any rash actions, rethink decisions or to say
sorry once you’ve cooled down.
Try to be patient -
this is not the month to force situations. You’re better off
waiting until December when cosmic energies will be working
more in your favour.
Taurus
Ssssss! Taurus
you’re on fire! The New Moon in Scorpio on the 2nd
is infusing you with a sexy, mysterious and passionate
intensity. You could be a big hit with the opposite sex, so
book a romantic date with your sweetie - the sparks are
guaranteed to fly later – enjoy! Single? If there has been
someone you’ve admired for a while, this is the night to
reel them in – you’re irresistible right now! With the Sun
and Jupiter currently also in Scorpio emphasising 7th
house matters the focus seems to fall sharply on partnership
(business and pleasure) matters. If a relationship has been
weighing you down, use Scorpio’s probing energy to get the
bottom of it, preferably before the 14th when
Mercury retrogrades, causing static in your dealings with
others. If you choose not to, miscommunication, coupled with
high octane emotions, could bring things to an explosive
head around the Taurus Full Moon on the 16th or
the 7th when Mars and the Sun oppose each other,
making sparks fly. Fortunately, you will have Venus on your
side from the 6th making positive aspects to
jovial Jupiter on the 8th so use this more
benevolent and calming energy to your advantage early in the
month if you want matters to remain civilised.
If by mid-month you
feel ready to throw in the towel, take heart - from the 16th
when Mars and Mercury will both be retrograde, the pace
should slacken. With events in slow motion you’ll have the
time you need (and insist on) to examine things in-depth and
make sensible decisions.
Gemini
Venus, planet of
romance and creativity is in Sagittarius until 6th
– use this last-minute energy to stake your claim in love or
give you the momentum you need to finish a creative
endeavour. After the 14th when your ruling planet
retrogrades, progress might start to move backwards or
others get cold feet, so sort out any nagging partnership
issues now and save yourself the hassle of misunderstandings
cropping up later.
From the 7th, the
spotlight will fall firmly on work, health and lifestyle
issues. With four planets moving into your sixth house,
including the New Moon on the 2nd, new
opportunities and possibly promotions could be in the
pipeline. Use your rising confidence and new-found personal
authority to make suggestions for improvements to the boss –
your sale pitch will hit the mark! Worried about piling on
those pounds over the festive season? Now is a good time to
kick start a fitness regime or weight loss programme - as
they say, prevention is better than cure! Or maybe just hit
the shops and get a few nice outfits for your autumn
wardrobe. Make sure you do so before the 14th or
you may just end up with a whole lot of stuff you don’t
need. You may also find yourself experiencing a bout of
‘foot in mouth’ disease, especially around the 7th
and 18th when planetary turbulence could force
your hand. Try instead to channel your enthusiasm into
action – unfortunately, Gemini, you won’t find it that easy
to talk yourself out of any holes you might dig for yourself
around now. So that by the 27th you’re ready to
welcome some surprise news at work.
Cancer
Cancers should
welcome the New Moon in Scorpio on the 2nd which
could make for a steamy finish to a romantic evening out.
Single Cancers should get out and about - this could be the
night to meet someone new and special. Other good date
nights include the 17th when Venus and Mars form
a magical triangle in the sky and the 27th when
Uranus and Jupiter conspire to bring you heart-warming
news.
Since the end of
last month, you’ve had Jupiter, the planet of luck and
expansion, orbiting your fifth house of children, creativity
and new romances – bringing luck and success to creative
projects, expanding your social circle and ushering in a
fabulous time for new love. There is a foreign aspect to
Jupiter too so it could mean travelling for pleasure or
meeting a lover with a foreign connection.
Jupiter’s emphasis
on children together with a full moon in the 12th
house of confinement makes me think that for some of you,
there may be a baby on the way. If you are expecting, the 14th
could be the night your little bundle of joy arrives…
Around the Full Moon
in Taurus, you may feel a bit moody or emotional so it is
probably best to stay in and use the time to de-stress, play
soothing music and have some down-time. Take care around the
7th and 18th when the Sun makes harsh
aspects to Mars and Saturn – there could be fireworks so
keep your head down and out of arguments. Mercury will
certainly slow the pace down from the 16th so
make the most of the cooler evenings and chilled atmosphere
by having your favourite people round for cosy dinners.
Leo
The Sun and Jupiter
in Scorpio are shining on your 4th sector of
lifestyle and household affairs right now and will be joined
by a New Moon in Scorpio on the 2nd. It seems you
have domestic matters to attend to. It may be necessary for
you to take the lead in family affairs, especially decisions
involving finances. Alternatively, Leos may be thinking of
moving, working from home or setting up a domestic
enterprise - not a bad idea though Saturn will force you to
do your research and leave nothing to chance. Failing that,
maybe you’ll decide to throw a Halloween party or purchase
new furniture. It is also good news for those who are tiring
of their current surroundings and for Leos thinking of
co-habiting with a partner.
One day you may want
to look out for is the 7th when the sun and Mars
clash making for tension, disagreements and potential
conflicts with others. Both planets are packed full of fiery
energy which could be used to your advantage, particularly
if you are working up the courage to tell off an inferior or
stand up to a bully boss. Be absolutely sure of your
convictions though before taking a “me first” stance - you
need to be prepared to deal with the resentment that may
come along with it. A full moon in Taurus just over a week
later on the 16th may bring about an emotional
‘make or break’ decision, possibly related to these earlier
events – if you have been meaning to make a change, do so
now and without regret. Once the exciting, unexpected and
possibly life-changing events of the 22nd and 27th
unfold, you’ll see why you were right to do so.
Virgo
Venus moves into the
friendlier earth sign of Capricorn early in the month which
should improve family relations or domestic situations and
give your love life a boost. If you’re looking for love,
this is the time to be sociable so make a few calls and head
into town around the 5th for a great night out.
Any business activities related to the arts will thrive now
too, as will creative pursuits. The new Moon in Scorpio on
the 2nd may have brought useful contacts your
way, perhaps through a sibling. Together with Jupiter in the
same sign, new avenues may open up for you now so take
people up on their offers and dial the numbers on those
business cards! If you are looking for a lucky day to have a
meeting or go on a date, try the 8th when Venus
and Jupiter make lovers benevolent and potential clients
open to what you have to say. Whatever you do, don’t make it
the 7th when a Sun-Mars opposition creates
volatile and challenging circumstances. The 17th
or 27th are also good, though their energy will
be diluted somewhat by your ruling planet, Mercury, which
goes retrograde from the 14th. However well
discussions may initially go, try to delay signing anything
- you may develop second thoughts or need to iron out some
details first. In the second half of the month, you’re
better off concentrating on romance – the full Moon in
Taurus on the 16th could see sparks fly so clear
your schedule!
Libra
After a year’s stay
in your sign, Jupiter, planet of expansion and travel moves
to neighbouring Scorpio from where it will exert an
influence on your income and lifestyle. Your fortunes look
set to change for the better and with it, your financial
outlook. But don’t let your new-found optimism make you
overly extravagant - whilst your bank balance stands to
multiply, make sure you don’t spend the cash before you’ve
earned it! Jupiter has a tendency to make people overly
generous and indulgent so use those Libran scales to keep
the books balanced! Instead, use the cash wisely to put
plans into action – over the last twelve months, Jupiter has
helped you to think big so it would be a shame, now that you
have the means, not to make a go of it. Aiding you in any
new money-making ventures are the Sun and new Moon, both in
Scorpio on the 2nd.
Venus, your ruler,
and Uranus, planet of surprise developments, both make
friendly aspects to Jupiter on the 8th and 27th
so it looks like you have plenty to smile about. However,
trying to sort out the practicalities after the 14th
may be tricky – Mercury moving backwards in your 3rd
house makes for muddy thinking, mix-ups and logistical
hiccups. A blast from the past may also shake things up so
don’t finalise anything just yet.
Love-wise, try not
to get into any power struggles or arguments about sex or
money on the 7th - things may not turn out quite
the way you’d like. From the 5th, love gets more
serious but also more stable. Enjoying cosy nights in or
going out for a meal are the perfect ways to get the most
out of this earthier energy.
Scorpio
This is your
birthday month Scorpio and you have much to celebrate. After
having a bit of a time of it over the last few years, you
can finally breathe out – your luck is about to change for
the better. The new Moon on the 2nd in your sign
signals the beginning of a fresh period of expansion and
progress for you, thanks to Jupiter, now touring your first
house of identity and self-expression. You may have noticed
a change in your attitude since the end of last month -
perhaps you are feeling more self-confident, more benevolent
and optimistic about the future. You should be – Jupiter’s
year long stay in Scorpio means big things are in store.
However, don’t be surprised if you get off to a bumpy start
– Mars, currently in your opposite sign of Taurus, is moving
backwards, slowing progress and creating friction,
especially on the 7th. and the 18th.
Don’t be despondent
– having experienced some tough times over the last few
years, you probably doubt that circumstances will ever
improve. They will but just not necessarily in the way you
expect.
On the romance
front, around the Full Moon in Taurus on the 16th
things could get steamy – nothing a sultry Scorpio can’t
handle! Romance may also become more relaxed and durable
from the 5th - no bad thing as you have probably
had your fill of drama over the last few years and could do
with something more stable. However, avoid arguments on the
7th - you may say something you’ll regret.
After the 14th
find time to review your financial history and hold off
signing any legal documents until the 5th of next
month.
Sagittarius
This month things
are liable to get a bit more serious. Jupiter, your ruling
sign, moved into your 12th house of introspection
and hidden matters last month for a stay of twelve months.
He was joined by the Sun on the 23rd and will
also get a brief visit from the new moon on the 2nd.
After a flurry of social or club-based pursuits, you may
suddenly find yourself wanting to be alone with your
thoughts. This is no bad thing – it gives you time to take
stock and deepen your outlook. You’re quite a philosophical
soul and get a great deal of satisfaction from contemplating
the more weighty issues in life. A week-end retreat or
meditation course would go down well now, as would any
involvement with cultural institutions or voluntary work.
Perhaps all this
scurrying about may have been a way of avoiding a situation
you would rather forget about. This tactic is unlikely to
work for much longer, especially after the 14th
when Mercury retrogrades in your sign, bringing past issues
back into your life and demanding resolution. That aside, it
may simply be time to work through any doubts you may have
about the future - important stuff and worth taking the time
to consider.
Venus will also be
changing signs around the 5th putting the
emphasis on values, money and lifestyle - more things to
consider and re-evaluate. Your old cheerful mood may return
temporarily on the 8th when Venus makes you feel
sociable and romantic. Activities a music concert, religious
art or celebrations of nature are sure to move and inspire
you now.
See November as a
kind of winter period where all unnecessary obstacles are
cleared to make way for the new possibilities of spring.
After the 22nd when the sun enters your sign, you
will feel a turning point after which your life stands to
change dramatically. The 27th has Uranus giving
you a glimpse of what may be to come as surprise
developments take place.
Capricorn
Venus, planet of
love, moves into your sign on the 5th, bringing
romance into focus. She will be helped by a full Moon and
Mars, both in Taurus, in your 5th house of love
affairs, signalling that it may be time to stop being such a
workaholic and get romantic. Good planetary configurations
on the 8th may see room temperatures rise as
single goats find themselves drawn to a sophisticated
stranger.
With Mercury
retrograde from the 14th an old lover may make a
comeback or you may simply start to wonder about a current
lover. Don’t make any firm decisions until after the 4th
of Dec when the planet goes forward again, as communication
may be unclear and thinking confused. Don’t be tempted to
make rash pronouncements around the 7th, when the
sun and Mars get into a bit of a scuffle. The same goes for
the 17th when a harsh aspect between Mars and
your ruling planet Saturn can cause frustration and power
struggles. Try to avoid being pinned down or giving answers
now, as you may regret the choices you make later.
The new moon on the
2nd sees you thrown into unfamiliar territory.
Try to be open to any group situations or friendly
individuals – you may find you learn a lot from this person
or have a very good learning experience. With Jupiter in
Scorpio from the 25th of October for a full year,
the collective theme seems set to continue. Broaden your
horizons and make new connections by joining a club or
society or participating in activities with a party of
friends. From the 22nd, just as the sun enters
Sagittarius, Saturn, your ruling planet, goes retrograde,
which may slow you down or inhibit you somewhat. Take things
slowly, especially if you feel vulnerable. However, try not
to let fear paralyse you from taking important risks.
On the 27th
Jupiter and Uranus trine in water signs, which should put
you back in touch with your feelings. Solutions to the
emotional decisions you struggled with earlier in the month
may suddenly become clear.
Aquarius
Since January 2004
you’ve felt the influence of watery Pisces on your emotions,
amplifying your feelings and deepening your compassion for
the suffering of others. Whilst this has helped to balance
out your overly-intellectual approach, it can also make you
more sensitive. Currently, Uranus is travelling backwards,
weakening your intentions and dissipating your energies.
Mars, currently in your sector of home and family, is also
retrograde, making progress slow and frustrating. On top of
that the sun, moon and Jupiter are all congregating in your
sector of career and ambitions, threatening to shake things
up. Take each day as it comes and be strong, Aquarius - this
rocky period will not last forever. Things should start to
slow down around the 14th when Mercury, also in
Scorpio, goes retrograde. You may actually welcome the
delays and slower pace it brings as this gives you time to
catch your breath. Try to roll with the punches and be
philosophical – everything usually happens for a reason –
even if it at first it isn’t remotely apparent!...
On the love front,
you’ve had Saturn in your sector of partnerships and
marriage since mid July, adding a serious, somewhat
inhibited overtone to your relationships or attitude to
them. Not entirely a bad thing as you have been known to be
a bit fickle in the past! Now, with Venus entering Capricorn
on the 5th take the time to review any habits and
subconscious tendencies that may affect your relationships.
It could be that things you weren’t even aware of are
contributing to partnership problems. If you don’t have any,
perhaps it is simply time for a little down-time –
relationships often benefit from both parties spending time
apart, so don’t be afraid to ask for some ‘me time’ if you
need it. You will get some temporary reprieve on the 17th
when Venus and Mars meet in a heavenly trine, creating
marvellous energy for lovers everywhere. On the whole
though, Saturn and Mercury will be forcing you to think
carefully and act responsibly - or else learn lessons the
hard way.
From around the
Taurus Full Moon on the 16th Uranus will start to
move forwards again and you should feel your strength and
personal power seeping back. Things continue to improve as
the sun edges closer to Sagittarius, which it reaches on the
22nd. Fortune once again seems to favour you on
the 27th when Jupiter and Uranus make a friendly
angle with each other. After a tough month, surprises abound
and you luck will once again be on your side.
Pisces
With four planets
lined up in Scorpio this month, you seem set to travel to
new and far-flung corners of the world. Alternatively, you
may be signing up for a new course of study or getting
involved in publishing, cultural or spiritual pursuits.
Whatever it is, the New Moon on the 2nd seems to
spark it all off, breathing fresh air into this area of your
life.
By the full moon on
the 16th you seem fit to burst with ideas,
insights and creative energy. Put these to good use – you
never know where they may lead – possibly added income or
even a new career direction. Venus in Capricorn from the 5th
suggests that you should look to your friends or technology
now - they may be able to offer the support and
infrastructure you need to get a dream off the ground. This
is especially true around the 8th when Venus and
Jupiter encourage stimulating encounters with charming
individuals. The energies of 7th though, may be
somewhat fraught so be sure not to get your dates mixed up!
The 17th
holds the promise of romance and sexy fun while the 18th
might see an old quarrel resurface. Try to do the right
thing and avoid rows that may otherwise simmer for months.
On the 27th Uranus and Jupiter give you a glimpse
of what exciting things the future may have in store for
you. Reach for the stars – the skies really are the limit.
