YOUR 2010 AUTUMN HOROSCOPES

What the Stars have in Store for you this October ...

As the nights begin to draw in across the northern hemisphere and we head towards winter and the changing of the clocks on October the 31st (UK),  you may want to wind up outward-oriented activities and begin a more introspective period between now and the winter solstice, mirroring the time when the sun's presence is less obviously felt on the earth - a time when the ancients  thought that the sun spent hibernating in the earth. Just as the moon had a monthly waxing and waning phases, so in the minds of the ancients, did the Sun.2  Rather like the waning of the Moon, the Sun's influence is now moving from the external world to that of the internal one, and thus it's affect is likely to be more subtle and introverted between now and next Spring.

This is probably why the Sun sign associated with this time - Scorpio - is considered to be feminine and nocturnal in modality. Bear this in mind as you read these horoscopes, which can be accessed by clicking on the zodiac sign icons below.
