Sagittarians may be forgiven for thinking that they have
deja vu. Not even six months ago, you were probably standing
at the same place you are now - a crossroads in your
life when important choices need to be made to resolve a
dilemma between home, family and real estate on one hand,
and career development, public recognition and
responsibilities, on the other.
Back in March-April, you experienced two eclipses in the
same sectors of your chart - the 4th and 9th houses. First
of all, you may have had a wild card present itself to you
in the form of a job offer, unexpected promotion or
unforeseen changes that affected your reputation or public
status. Perhaps you became suddenly famous? Or you were
considering a career change? At the time, it seems that you
were, instead, forced to divide your energy, time and
attention between home and work life, with domestic ,
property and family issues tugging at the heart-strings and
possibly throwing you off course a little.
At the time, you may have been trying to buy a house, move
or possibly even relocate to somewhere new. However, again
you had some difficult aspects that may have ensured that
the pause button was hit and plans feel through or ground to
a halt. Or a dramatic event, such as the illness of a
parent, may have forced you off on your intended path and
into something of a diversion. To make matters worse,
Jupiter and Pluto, which has been touring your sign, decided
to go into hibernation for several months.
You'll be pleased to know that circumstances have changed
somewhat since then. First of all, Jupiter began direct
motion once more through Sagittarius at the beginning of
August, which meant you got your mojo back and things began
to go your way again. Secondly, Pluto, planetoid of
transformation, will be returning to normal direction on the
9th or so of September, which means that you can now begin
to reinvent yourself and make those life changes (or even
have that make-over) that you have been dreaming of since
Easter.
You will also be experiencing your annual set of autumn
eclipses, this time in opposite places, on the 28th of
August and the 11th of September.
The first one, a Full Moon lunar eclipse in Pisces, may
re-ignite your need to change lifestyles, move house, buy a
home or put down roots somewhere. It may also bring
unexpected news of a family member, possibly a parent, which
could make you feel a little emotional. This is because
Mercury and Uranus are at loggerheads across the same two
houses. Mercury rules plans and communication whilst Uranus
rules surprises, shocks and the unconventional. At any rate,
Full Moons are usually a time of closure or of fulfilment,
so it seems likely that around now, there will be a sense of
completion or conclusion about events related to this aspect
of your life. Sadly, you will feel torn between your need to
attend to family or property matters and the demands of your
career or civic responsibilities if you are hold office or
are somehow in the public eye. The Moon will be making a
difficult aspect to your ruler, Jupiter on the same day,
which could really amplify the emotional drama. It could
also encourage self-indulgence, both in terms of food, money
and feelings. try to avoid being emotionally dependent on
others now or shopping or eating to try and cheer yourself
up. And a little down you may feel because of a Sun-Saturn
conjunction that occurs just before the eclipse takes place,
which might add a sombre or depressing atmosphere to things.
Whatever occurs now, you are advised not to take any hasty
or impulsive action, something you might be tempted to do,
given that Mars will also be exerting a bad influence on
Jupiter, making you feel overconfident and over-amped. Act
in haste, repent at leisure. This could be especially true
for you now in connection with relationships because Mars
will be sitting in the 7th house of one-to-one partnerships.
It could well be that both lovers and family members are fed
up of the amount of time you spent working or trying to get
ahead and all decide to gang up on you around the lunar
eclipse. Unfair as this is, try not to blow up or get on
your high horse - they are only saying these things because
they love you and miss spending time in your company.
Good days to try and put things right on this score are the
5th, 8th, and 13th when the two benefics, Venus and Jupiter,
will be working to help calm troubled communications,
increase good feeling between loved ones, promoting
fairness, pace and harmony and making conversations about
the future more expansive and philosophical. When I say the
5th I DO NOT include the 4th in this equation. On this day,
both the Sun and Moon make harsh angles to Jupiter so trying
to make peace on this day may only make things worse or end
in arguments.
Any doubts you may have had about where to focus your
energies at the Full Moon look set to be resolved by the New
Moon on the 11th when a solar eclipse in Virgo places the
emphasis firmly on your career and future plans. A new cycle
is likely to begin now which could mean a new job,
promotion, fame or even a seat in public office at this
time. Loved ones may just have to understand that this is
where your focus is for the next six months and domestic or
real estate matters may have to wait or be put on hold.
Alternatively, the new job may be in a different country, in
which case you won't necessarily be wanting to buy property
in your current location but may, instead be looking to rent
for a while until you find your feet at work. This last
scenario could be influenced by the return of Venus to
direct motion in your 9th house of overseas travel and
foreign relations which increases the likelihood that you
may be earning money from an abroad destination. It
could also mean that your next job is related to the law or
higher education.
Unfortunately, changes made at this time will not be plain
sailing, thanks to a difficult contact between the Moon and
Jupiter the day before, as well as a t-square formation
between Uranus, Mars and the Moon on the 11th, raising the
temperature again in relation to loved ones. Clearly, they
may not like to hear that they have to take a back seat to
your ambition, so expect things to be a little rocky for a
bit.
Fortunately, you have the 13th to try and make people see
your point of view. On this day, the Moon and Mercury will
both be making a dynamic but pleasant angle to Jupiter. This
means that you have the upper hand both emotionally and
intellectually. Mercury will also be in Libra, the sign of
the diplomat and peacemaker. Use some Venusian charm and
Jupiterian rhetoric to make family and partners see the
bigger picture.
So Sag, clearly following your dreams will not be
straightforward this autumn but, unlike earlier in the year,
you do have both Jupiter and Pluto on your side.Whatever
happens at eclipse time, make things work for you. This is
your time to reinvent yourself and undergo a personal
transformation - don't waste it.
