This Autumn, many Scorpios will be making some key life
decisions involving where they live, what they do for a
living and possibly even whether to have children. Plans or
choices you made back in April will now finally begin
to bear fruit, thanks to a set of eclipses in your 5th and
11th houses on the 28th of August and the 11th of September.
Back then, you may have become involved in a new
relationship. Half a year later, you may now be ready to
make some changes or take things to the next level. A Venus
retrograde period which began last month may have prompted
you to reassess what you want from relationships as a whole
or simply take stock of where things have gotten to in your
present love affair. When it resumes forward motion on
the 9th of September, you'll be ready to make some key
decisions relating to this relationship. Of course, love
affairs may not have been the main focus for you during this
period. Instead, a female friend, a group membership or your
personal aspirations and career development may have been
the source of your preoccupation. Whatever the emphasis, the
process remains the same - the Venus retrograde period will
have helped you to go back and review or assess the status
quo and give you the opportunity to see where changes need
to be made.
Back in April, you were also at a key point in the process
of making some lifestyle changes, possibly involving a
relocation, house move or property investment. However, your
ruler, Pluto was retrograde for most of the year which meant
that things had to be put on hold while plans were
reassessed and certain obstacles slowly removed from your
path. Interestingly, Pluto will also resume forward motion
in September, the day before Venus does, so clearly the
planets are signalling the green light for you. Pluto will
do so from the second house of real estate, earned income,
personal resources (including skills), self regard and the
pursuit of wealth and security. In a number of respects it
would seem that it is crunch time.
To help you make these key decisions or take things a step
further, is a lunar eclipse in Pisces on the 28th of
August. Shining brightly in your 5th house of creative
projects, love affairs, hobbies and children, the Full Moon
signals the culmination or conclusion of a cycle in this
area of your life. It will be an emotional time when you may
feel pulled into two directions. If a relationship has been
the focus for you since April, you may now be feeling the
need to rejoin society and spend more time with your
friends. The balancing act between intimacy with lovers and
quality time with friends is often a hard one to strike and
you may feel this keenly around this period. You may also be
weighing up some advice about a partner from a friend and
assessing whether your current love interest is truly
worthy of you. On the other hand, you may discover that you
are pregnant or decide that the time is ripe to start a
family, which would mean making a serious commitment to your
present partner. It would also change your role within
society and possibly make you feel that you belong more
- an important 11th house quality.
Alternatively, a creative project might suddenly take on a
whole new dimension - perhaps you will now decide to
add a multi-media aspect to it or somehow introduce it to
the mass media? If so, a website would be the perfect way to
accomplish this, as would a TV documentary. Or you may begin
to feel the need for it to be meaningful on a societal level
and align yourself with a charity or decide to donate some
of the proceeds from an exhibition to a good cause. Another
way this may work out is that you get a group or some of
your friends involved and your project or hobby now begins
to take on a collective air.
Of course involving a group of people, or making a big decision
always brings with it its share of problems, chief of which is
differing points of view and the odd squabble. Thanks to an
opposition between Mercury and Uranus, this situation will no doubt
prove to be no exception. If possible, try to refrain from becoming
authoritarian and simply shutting down any arguments by making
across-the-board decisions in a dictatorial manner - a difficult
Mars-Jupiter aspect indicates that you may very well take a hardline
stance but this will not go down well and you could end up cutting
off your nose to spite your face or suffering an injury or
humiliating defeat. I know it might be difficult to take a step
back, as the Moon in Pisces will amplify emotions at this time. But
if you can, try to assume a slightly more detached perspective and
don't allow knee-jerk reactions to blind you to the sense inherent
in the criticisms or set-backs that may pop up around about now.
If things should blow up or escalate, or if unexpected
hassles should surface, you have two very good days to set
things to rights. Firstly, to smooth over fraught
relationships or engineer a reconciliation, choose the 5th
Of Sept, when Mercury glides into Libra and peace, fairness
and harmony fill your thoughts and speech. Mercury placed
here also ups the charm factor so between now and the 28th
is a great time to put your best foot forward, do some PR,
make presentations, have gallery openings etc
The other fab day is the 14th, when the Moon and Pluto meet
up for a friendly chat in Libra and Sagittarius. This would
be a great day to make emotional changes or doing some home
improvement. It is also a great day for improving your diet
or instigating a few alterations to your style of family
interaction. It is also not a bad day for business and
financial affairs so use it in the same way and do some
commercial DIY. Another good period for charm, diplomacy and
smoking the peace pipe will be between the 12th and 14th of
September when the Moon does its monthly pass through the
sign of Libra.
Any changes you realise need to be made can be put into
action from the New Moon on the 11th, when a solar eclipse
in Virgo calls for the start of a new cycle and facilitates
the outward expression of your inward feelings regarding
friends, groups, aspirations, the media and society,
particularly in relation the issues raised at the time of
the lunar eclipse. During this period, you may also
have to come to terms with the fallout from some difficult
aspects between the Moon, Mars and Uranus. There may
disagreements with romantic or business partners about joint
finances or business ventures. Also on the 12th, the Moon
will make a square to Pluto - not a good day to try and
force emotional or domestic issues or deal with a difficult
female.
These matters may also rear their ugly heads again on the
19th or 26th, both featuring difficult aspects with Pluto.
Around the 19th, there may be power struggles or
confrontations relating to lunar eclipse stuff - children,
creative projects, love relationships due to a mutable
t-square configuration between the Sun, Mars and Pluto. Try
to use it to do something amazing instead. And whatever come
sup regarding emotions or finances on the 26th can probably
be resolved on the 28th so there is no need to panic.
All in all, Scorpio, a busy time with many emotional ups and
downs, Just remember that any period of growth and cycle
change is usually fraught with a little bit of teething
problems and emotional upheaval. However, as you near your
birthday month, things will start falling into place. |
